From Duty to Delight: A Topical Study on Prayer

We know we ought to pray. We want to pray, or at least we want to want to pray. We need to pray.

But still, most of us struggle to pray.

We pray sporadically. We pray selfishly.

We wonder what difference our prayers will make, if God is sovereign and already knows what’s going to happen.

We can’t find the time. We get distracted. We don’t know what to do or say.

In this topical Bible study on prayer, we’ll turn to God’s Word and let Him teach us how to pray.

We’ll take several passages of Scripture and meditate on them. We’ll ask questions. What does it say about God? What does it say about me? Are there commands to obey? Promises to claim? Examples to follow?

We’ll learn to praise God for who He is. We’ll learn to repent of sinful attitudes and actions.  We’ll learn to respond to what God says to us in His Word.

What Others Have Said

Draw Near to God
By: Susan Menzmer

This study will take you by the hand and show you step by step how to read God’s Word, and then turn that scripture into a prayer for yourself and your loved ones. There is such power in the Bible, just waiting for us to tap into it! I highly recommend this study! It has been a huge blessing to me!
