John 15: Abiding in the True Vine

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.” John 15:1-2

In this study of John 15, we’ll be sitting with Jesus, listening to some of His last words with His closest friends before He began His journey to the cross. We’ll meditate on our union with Him and the fruit that is borne through that union. We’ll consider the purpose of God’s pruning in our lives, and our reflection of Jesus as we love and lay down our lives for one another.

Cling to The Vine
By: Susan Menzmer

Wow! This study was exactly what I needed, in pointing out the only way to truly bear fruit in my life. So often we feel that WE just need to work a little harder, do a little better—but this is a trap. The only way we can bear fruit is to abide in the True Vine. Highly recommend this study, if you want to love others as you are loved, rest and abide in Him, and bear much fruit. Remember, you are chosen!

I’m excited to start this. Paying more attention to Christ words.

This has been a wonderful study. I apparently took more than two months to complete it. This study has enabled me to look deeper into what kind of love has the Father for His Son, His Son’s love, and then we are asked to emulate that kind of love. It’s so deep. The word LOVE in God’s sense has an entirely different level of meaning than what we humans in our limited knowledge understand.
What a blessing this study has been!
God bless you Pam for all your works and for helping each of us dig deeper into the word of God and bear much fruit and work towards keeping those fruits.
    God bless you!
