God in the Psalms

The Bible is God’s story. In it He tells us who He is and what He has done and will do. As we read any portion of God’s Word, we should be looking for what He tells us about Himself. The more we read, the more we can know and trust Him.

In this short study, we will be encouraged by fourteen different Psalms and the consistent reminders we find of God’s power, His love, His faithfulness, and His care for those who fear Him. We will be able to take what we do in these psalms and apply it to any other passage we read in the Bible.

It has taken me a while to completely leave every thing in Gods hands. I battled with this cause I’m so independent. The more faithful I am to my bible reading and Prayer the closer I draw to God. The more I allow him to take control of my life, thoughts and actions. The great peace I have in my heart.

The Word helps us remember that God is in control and can be completely trusted with that control. 🙂

I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is new to Bible study, or who has been out of the habit of daily study for awhile. In October, our 6th was born. Over the winter three of our children were hospitalized for various reasons, and I homeschool. Needless to say, my long-time habit of daily devotions really suffered until this spring. I was so pleased to see the different tracks available now. While I would love to dive back into level 4 or 5, I found this study incredibly doable and refreshing. I really took my time, spending several days or a week on each Psalm as my time each day is very short. However, I was still able to grow and refresh and learn through the process. Thank you for a study that is doable, yet still rich! I also highly recommend the Psalter referenced in the bonus resources. I bought my own copy and have really enjoyed using it.

Praise God for bringing you through such a season of trials, and for feeding you along the way! Thanks for sharing, Tracy!
