Luke 1:46-55: The Magnificat

“And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.”

Mary’s response to Elizabeth in Luke 1, known as the Magnificat, is an expression of her obedient response to God’s mission. In this song of Mary’s, we learn that she is a woman of great faith who also knows her Bible! In this 2-week study, we will look more closely at what Mary is saying as she comes to realize and believe what God is doing through her — and how God is reversing the whole course of history in the Advent of His Son.

Mary’s Song—My Song!
By: Susan Menzmer

I never realized how applicable this passage was to my own life! It is more than a recording of something that happened long ago—it is also a reminder of what God has done, and a promise of what He is going to do for me! Highly recommended!

Short but wonderful

This has been one of the best studies I have done. Uplifting, convicting, so much more than first meets the eye. Everyone should take 14 days and do this study. Loved it!
