Psalm 34: Take Refuge in Him

“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good!
Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!” Psalm 34:8

Psalm 34 is one of my favorite Psalms, filled with joy, gratitude, and assurance of God’s care and forgiveness.

In this study, we’ll look into the background & occasion of David’s writing this Psalm. We’ll find and mark David’s superlatives like “all”, “never” and “continually”.

Psalm 34 will remind us to fear God more than we fear things outside of us, because God is faithful.

Praise the Lord!
By: Kristen Harper

Praise the Lord for this Bible study of Psalm 34 to start the new year 2024! I was encouraged by David's example to praise the Lord before, during, and after afflictions. This Psalm reminded me that the Lord answers, delivers, hears, saves, encamps around, rescues, is good, sees, is near, and redeems His people - including me! Praise the Lord!
